Unique, Beautiful, Tricky

点评：Very unique course with a natural layout that winds through carved rocky terrain and around streams, ponds, and wetlands. The course is all about shot placement, decisions, and cheap golf balls.
While the fairways are tight and the greens are small, you get a break on length and you'll only need a driver on a few holes. That being said, 5 is over 600yds from the tips with a postage stamp sized green protected in the front by a stream and cliff face behind it.
The elevation changes and design give you a choice between laying up or being a hero on nearly half the holes which makes best ball rounds with your friends a lot of fun. If you have a huge power fade drive in your bag or can smash a fairway wood you can go for the green on 6 in 2, otherwise it's 3 iron shots to get on in regulation. I also noticed the new owners have been planting fescue on the sides to keep balls in bounds along with some other changes that have made it more playable over the last few years.
If you are looking for a farm course where you can slice it onto the next hole's fairway go elsewhere, but if you want something that showcases the geography of the area and can be a little tricky, this place is a gem. Also, the restaurant is much better than the other local courses.
