点评:We were staying locally in a motorhome having cancelled a site because the local wouldn’t even allow dogs in the bar and we really wanted a Sunday roast with our well behaved dog.
Where we live, dogs are allowed at least in the bar. We rang the Kings Arms to make sure they allow dogs and oh my goodness are they welcome. There were dogs everywhere, but you didn’t know any of them were there as they were so well behaved. Staff couldn’t have been more welcoming to both us and the dogs . No wonder the restaurant/bar area was heaving. It deserved to be. We had a beautiful Sunday lunch, the staff are extremely friendly and incredibly efficient. Really good menu as well. Reasonably priced. The only slight criticism is my husband said he would have liked a little bit more meat on his Sunday roast. The ambience was perfect, the welcome was perfect, this establishment deserves to do really well. I cannot believe how many pubs and eateries in Wales do not allow dogs, yet so many are struggling at the moment. This one completely proved that if you allow dogs you won’t to be struggling! If we lived locally we’d come a lot but if we are in the area again we will definitely return.
