Favourite beach and restaurant well worth the effort to get here

点评：Here we are again, holidaying on the wonderful Greek Island of Halki from the 13th to 26th June.
This was an opportunity to revisit this Beach, one of our favourites. It is accessible by boat, Gianni's Express, by car or taxi or our preferred alternative on foot. It is a mile and a half from the Town of Nimporio, up a steep hill on one side and down the hill on the other. Our walking experience is reviewed Halki Mirador.
The predominantly stoney/pebbled Beach is situated in a secluded bay surrounded by a rugged rocky headland on the eastern coast of the Island. From the beach there are wonderful views across the Bay including the Islands of Alimia, Maelonisi and Rhodes in the distance.
Sunbeds with umbrellas, cabanas are spread out across the beach. A pair of sunbeds and umbrella is €8 for the day.
Kania Restaurant is also located here, a real treat to have a few hours on the beach then with a relaxed lunch with delicious food, then then return to the sunbeds for the rest of the afternoon.
We always ended our day here with a cold beer or two before our walk back across the hill to the Town.
Would recommend were rubber soled shoes when get into the crystal clear waters of the Aegean Sea. There are toilets and a shower here.
