点评：I booked a private birding tour, which included pick up from and drop off at Stone Town. My guide was lovely and very knowledgeable (I should say I am a beginner birder and need lots of guidance). We saw some stunning birds and also the famous red Colobus monkeys. The mangroves were also very interesting. Although we started early, it became quite hot and I was actually pleased when it started drizzling. I recommend taking enough drinking water, maybe a snack (there seem to be very few facilities in the park), and wearing reasonable shoes (it was quite muddy in places) as well as long pants (as you will be walking in tallish grass and in forest). It‘s not far from Stone Town but the drive takes nearly an hour due to the road conditions and traffic. It‘s a lovely half day excursion if you like nature and want some peace and quiet.
