Disappointing Lunch
The Castle Hotel Bar的点评
点评：I wouldn’t consider us regulars at the Castle, but it is one of our favourites when we fancy a run out in to Kent. We had friends down from Birmingham and fancied going somewhere out of London for a change, Eynsford and the Castle seemed a great option. Our friends were seeing a show later which included a meal, so went for a lighter choice, my wife and myself chose a lunch option. There was a long wait, which didn’t really bother us as we were not in a hurry, but when our main meals arrived they were a little too well done. The triple cooked chips looked and tasted like they had been cooked yesterday and again today. My Moroccan Burger was very well done to the point that the bun was too hard to bite in to. Now at the time I didn’t want to make a fuss as our friend’s meals were fine and I didn’t want to wait again for a fresher meal to be served. My wife also commented later that hers was not the best, compared to meals that we have previously enjoyed at the Castle. I did make a comment to our Waitress, as feedback, but didn’t force the issue. It was our anniversary, so our friend’s paid the bill and I didn’t want to make a fuss. Hence the review on here.
