点评：All aboard the Happy train! Toot... Toot! It will make you so happy you will cry! 🥹🥲
Happy train exceeded our expectations. Myself and my daughter booked the Vrachasi route half day trip and enjoyed it so much we booked the Milatos half day tour. Our personal favourite was the Vrachasi tour, we both agreed this was the best day of our entire holiday. We were glad we booked the Milatos tour in addition, as it was also amazing and both tours offer beautiful scenery, views and great Tavernas serving authentic Cretan food.
George was an excellent tour guide and especially passionate about his home Villiage Vrachasi, a beautiful village, filled with beautiful welcoming people and excellent tavernas with delicious food. (The Stifado, Meza and home made bread were amazing!)
We enjoyed tasting the samples at the olive mill on the Milatos tour, the extra virgin olive oil was delicious and we enjoyed learning about the processes involved in producing it. Milatos Villiage is also very pretty and afterwards we went to the beautiful beach and harbour and we found an excellent Taverna with seats right next to the water, with pretty trees providing shade. We had these amazing stuffed zucchini leaves and meatballs.
The beach and harbour were very pretty and it's a perfect place to relax and have a dip in the water.
We 100% recommend both trips and you will enjoy the train ride itself winding through olive groves and mountains. Also people you pass on the train who you have never met before will enthusiastically wave at you. ❤️ Thank you George. 😊
