Field with 18 areas of slightly less grass and a flag

点评：Worst 'course' in the county! By a long way!!!

Its not a golf 'course'. Its a big overgrown field with 18 flags in areas of SLIGHTLY less grass.
I used to play here 15 years ago when i didnt know much better. I play off 16 now and have played multiple courses around wiltshire and beyond and nothing comes close to how bad this course is.
We Played here in June after being told its a bog during wet weather.
The greens were like most club fairways only the grass is like garden lawn grass and not fine fairway grass actual courses have, and the fairways are like rough. Certainly long enough to lose your ball if you don't keep an eye on where it went.
The greens were impossible to play in to as they were so hard the ball bounced along and through like it was tarmac. But the 'fairways' are so long trying to play a chip and run just didn't run!!
Trying to putt on the greens was just even worse. Grass is so long you have to swing the club so hard taking all the finesse out of it.
I can only guess the people who have left more than 1 star are either friends/family of the owners, have never played before, have only ever played here or have been bribed.
If you're thinking of playing here DON'T! Even if it's free.
And if you still do, then you ignored the warnings and only have yourself to blame.
I was so glad to walk off and will never be coming back.

如果你想在这里打球，千万别来！即使它是免费的。
如果你还是这么做，那么你就忽略了警告，只能怪你自己。
我很高兴离开，再也不会回来了。
