点评：This is one of those places which I’ve been meaning to go to for years, but living 1.5 hours away I’ve never quite got round to it. Now with a 7 year old space enthusiast in tow, it seemed like it would be worth the making an effort.
We had such a fabulous day and our son bounced from exhibit to exhibit beaming with interest and delight. There was so much more interactivity than I’d anticipated, both the planetarium and tetrastar were excellent. We also spent a lot of time waiting for the rocket in the cafe to ‘launch’.
We were kicked out at closing having run out of time, but we’ll definitely be back. With a slightly older child, I might have found more opportunity to read some of the information and take more in, but we spent a packed 4 hours and could easily have had another hour, if not more, if we’d have had time for one of the talks or shows.
We took a picnic to reduce costs, but felt the ticket price was reasonable and £4 for all day parking was great. The shop was excellent too - so much choice. I’ll be recommending it to everyone - well done!
