Monmouth Historic Inn and Gardens的点评
点评：We travel extensively all over Mississippi and the United States and have stayed everywhere from the Stanley in Estas Park Co. to the White House in Biloxi. We stayed 5 days, and the photos are very miss leading. I normality stay at the Dunleith Historic Inn, but no accommodation was available if not there then I stay at Natchez Grand Hotel & Suites on the River which was a surprise to learn that they own the Monmouth Inn. The mattress was in very bad shape you could not turn the water off in the tub. TV was outdated cable service coaxial Room door was difficult to secure electrical outlet were missing cover plates. The luggage stand was broken and zip tied (See Photos) the grounds needed upkeep there is no lighting for walking the paths at light. The Bar did not have a bartender it was a server going in between the restaurant and the bar. Their web page boast "enjoy mint juleps or a cocktail in the Quitman Study or Lounge followed by dinner in the award-winning Restaurant 1818 inside the antebellum home." There is no Chef, Personal although very friendly look unprofessional. When these things were brought to the attention on the manager their solution was to offer you a cheap glass of wine. Also, during our stay there was a tour bus and a group of realtors, and they were complaining as well. I cannot understand how the fire department or the power company has allowed them to operate. whoever owns and operates really needs to invest some time and money in a once beautiful establishment.
