4 Day Introduction to Sea Kayaking

点评：Spent 4 amazing days on the introduction to Sea Kayaking course . I could go on at length about the glorious weather, scenery and wildlife on the four days which was absolutely amazing. However it would detract from the review and the purpose of the post. From the outset Mike was professional, very knowledgeable and friendly whilst his infectious love of kayaking, wild life and the environment was engaging and educational. The course was a master class in instruction. Firstly setting the students at ease, explaining and demonstrating paddling and boat handling technique. Then under guidance we practiced the techniques with individual feedback. Ratio of 1:6 was ideal for this course and felt there was always a reassuring ever watchful presence by Mike on the water but allowed us the freedom to explore and practice the techniques and skills. The gradual building, practice and reaffirming of skills learned was continuous throughout the course and tailored to the individual. There was some testing conditions on the water but only when Mike knew we were both ready and confident to tackle it, and I can wholeheartedly say the group nailed it. Guess it was no surprise to Mike as he had coached us through the gradual development of skills and confidence. I cannot recommend the course and company highly enough. Already checking the website to get booked on an expedition.
