No fuel
惠特比港的点评
点评：We were in a motorboat coming up the east coast of England and thought we’d drop in to Witby to stay for the day have a look around the town grab some provisions, go out to dinner, fill up with fuel for our onward journey.
We’re amazed to find that a harbour as large as Witby has no fuel available. (even though it states on navigation information that it does )
You actually have to walk with Cans about half a mile to a petrol station several times to fill up your boat which apparently is what most of the leisure craft do.
This seems crazy as it obviously creates a big risk of pollution with people trying to pour fuel from a cans into a boat tank on a moving boat vessel on a mooring. (As you can see by my photos)I guess there must be a reason but surely the council could arrange something
