点评：We had an amazing end to a perfect weekend away (20th wedding anniversary).
From the moment we arrived we were greeted by the fella at reception and he was honestly the most friendliest and knowledgeable man I’ve even had the pleasure of meeting. The kind of guy you could talk to all day! All the people that volunteer there are a credit to this wonderful little museum. I have a soft spot for the Meteor (grandfather served and worked on these) so this place was perfect.
These places don’t normally hold much interest to my better half but because of the volunteers she enjoyed it as much as I did. Highlight was definitely the cockpit tours of the Vulcan and the Trident. Cafe had some lovely cake and was reasonably priced.
This place is a little gem and runs on volunteers and donations. Entrance is free and well worth a visit when in the area.
