点评：Seitan Limania Beach is easily one of the most breathtaking locations we encountered in Crete, with turquoise water surrounded by dramatic cliffs creating a truly unforgettable setting. However, anyone planning a visit should be aware that reaching the beach is an adventure in itself.
The journey begins with a picturesque drive along a narrow mountain road featuring tight bends, blind hairpin corners and occasional loose rocks from the surrounding cliffs. Free-roaming mountain goats add to the character of the route and are a common sight both along the road and around the parking area. While the scenery is spectacular, the drive can be quite intimidating, even for confident drivers, so extra caution is needed.
At the end of the road there is a small gravel car park where visitors begin the descent to the beach. This section should not be underestimated. The route down is steep, rocky and uneven, with loose stones and sharp edges underfoot. My partner and I began the descent but chose not to continue because we were wearing sliders and felt the risk of injury outweighed the reward. Proper walking shoes or sturdy trainers are strongly recommended.
Visitors should also come fully prepared. Bring plenty of water, snacks, towels and anything else you may need because there are no facilities once you arrive. Considering the drive, descent and climb back to the car park, you will likely spend several hours here. The beach itself is relatively small, so arriving early gives you the best chance of finding a comfortable spot before it becomes crowded.
For those willing and able to tackle the descent safely, the beach looks absolutely stunning and is clearly one of Crete's most photogenic coastal spots. Just make sure you wear appropriate footwear, pack supplies and take your time on both the way down and the climb back up.
