Great scenery. Excellent bike rental shop.

点评：Our cruise ship stopped at Killybegs. A member of our traveling group found Ireland by Bike on TripAdvisor and booked a bunch of e-bikes. We were picked up at the dock, driven to Carrick, and outfitted for a day of riding. The equipment was in superb condition. The proprietor was extremely helpful and friendly. He provided laminated maps of the recommended route and supplemented with extra tips.
The first stop was at the Sliabh Liag cliffs. Super views. Thank the lord for e-bikes, as there were a couple of pretty steep hills to get there. Stopped for lunch at the Rusty Mackerel pub on the way back. Good spot.
The second leg was through the open country to Silver Strand Beach. A long, but relatively flat run through peat and sheep fields. Lots of sheep, some in roads. We saw a very competent sheep dog herding a flock down to a gate.
If you're looking to spend a day in beautiful countryside and offset some of the extra calories from the cruise ship buffet, you'll be hard pressed to beat this experience.
