Views over the Drakenstein Valley with great wines

点评：Camberley Wines, was our last visit on the Wine tram.
For this visit you have to take the bus from the Groot Drakenstein Terminal and its about a 10 minutes scenic drive up into the mountains towards Stellenbosch.
Camberley is a smaller vineyard, but has a unique quirky feel to it, from the decor and art to the names of the wines its just magic. The setting high on the mountain side allows for great views over the valley below. We were warmly welcomed by the Golden Retrievers as we got off the bus and escorted to the tasting rooms with tails wagging where we were met by Adele.
We had a wonderful wine tasting to finish off the day and as it was late in the afternoon it was only us present so it was a very relaxed personal visit. Adele was excellent and very informative. The reds were special and with names like the Philosopher's Stone and Celebration why wouldn't they be. The whites were also good especially the Prohibition. Noisy Grape was a real surprise a Pink Chenin!
We enjoyed the time spent here and it's certainly one to come back to, order placed it was back on the bus to the tram terminal and back to Franschhoek.
