Cliffs of the Neuse State Park的点评
点评：Moved to NC from VA recently; adored VA state parks (the prettiest on the east coast!) so I was looking forward to trying one in NC.
The park itself was well planned; the visitor center is on the right when you enter the park. No signs about checking in to the campground, so we drove on in. Since we prepaid for our site, and found our name was on it, we settled on in. We were right next to the camp host, who was very helpful.
Unfortunately, the lake was closed, so no water play. What was so disappointing is that this was JUNE, and their lake was closed for swimming. That was pretty shocking; evidently, they couldn't keep a lifeguard and staff was at a minimum.
Where are my NC taxes going??
The campground was small but well organized. We had a small Airstream TT and had no problem backing into our site; it was well drained gravel and fairly level. We also had plenty of flat space for a 2-man tent, a well maintained picnic table, a steel hook on a pole for a lantern, and a stationary fire pit. We had 30 amp service but no water at the site.
Hiking trails could use some maintenance.
The bath house was very, very clean - it must have been brand new or very recently remodeled. Another bath house near trails had been condemned with warning signs on the door.
I may or may not stay here again; the lake was closed so we couldn't go swimming. The camp store was closed so we couldn't buy ice. When we left, the visitor center was closed...
The site was priced too high for just camping with little to no amenities.

徒步小径需要一些维护。
浴室非常非常干净——它肯定是全新的，或者最近才翻新过。小径附近的另一家浴室已经被查封，门上贴着警告牌。
我可能会也可能不会再住在这里；湖关门了，所以我们不能去游泳。营地商店也关门了，所以我们买不到冰。我们离开的时候，游客中心也关门了……
这个营地的价格太高了，对于一个露营地来说，几乎没有任何便利设施。
