A Great Sample of DuPont Trails

点评：This was my first time mountain biking in the DuPont/Piscah area and decided on a guided tour and bike rental for the convenience. The Bike Farm had the best rates. The website allowed for describing my skill level and the guide (forgot his name) gave me two options for the type of riding, Piscah vs. DuPont. Based on the description, I picked DuPont.
The guide started the ride at a modest pace, but picked up the pace based on my feedback that I could go faster. The guide did a good job of adjusting the speed based on how well I was keeping up.
The trail selection was very good. There was one part of transiting on a gravel road, that seemed a little long, but I’m assuming was necessary to get to the best trails. The tour ended on a long downhill that was possibly the most fun trail I have every ridden.
Overall, the tour was just short of 15 miles, which was about 85% of my max comfortable distance at bout 90% of my max comfortable speed, which was in line with my expectations.
If I chose to do another guided tour in the area, I would definitely go back to The Bike Farm. I would go for the Piscah option and push the base just a little bit.
