点评：I had a business trip to Asheville and had always wanted to ride in Pisgah and also nearby Dupont. I reached out via email and Cashion the owner got in touch with me immediately. I booked two half days and a full day and Cashion set me up with Cypress for two of the days and Wes for the 3rd.
The experience was great. We started the 1st half day in Dupont State Forest. Super good trails in there and some nice waterfalls to look at as well.
The next day was a full one and we rode in Pigsah doing some loops on Black Mountain. The trails were great and Cypress gave me a lot of good insight as to what was coming and line choices. I didn’t hit everything but was able to do most of it with his coaching.
The 3rd day Wes filled in for Cypress due to a scheduled race and again we had a great time. We checked out some older trails off of Cove Creek Road and then into one of the newest trails - “Butter”. Guidance was great and I had a great time.
Both guides were a pleasure to spend time with and I look forward to visiting again. Since I was on my own, having a guide was a safe way to negotiate the forest and given some of the stuff we rode it was great to have someone around in case things went sideways.
