点评:We visited in torrential rain with a temperature of 2 degrees but despite this the gardens were very lovely. They are well laid out with informative signs near each planting.
There is a wonderful view point with views of the Troodos mountains.
Also there is an information-packed visitor centre giving the history of the site and data about Cyprus flora.
As the deciduous trees and shrubs are devoid of leaves in winter I expect that spring, summer or autumn might be a perfect time to visit these gardens.
The skeletal forms of the deciduous species are rather magical in winter though.
It's free to visit. There is no cafe so you might want to take a packed lunch when you visit.
The gardens are a fantastic initiative of the Cyprus Department of Forests and are available for everyone to learn and enjoy.
