First time great, second time workmen, maintenance and out of order rooms

点评：Would love to visit again as we have stayed over twice previously but unfortunately last time we came for just a day trip and there was smashed glass so lots of noise and builders working by the pool (In full sight and sound of the spa) and 4 spa rooms unavailable.
There was no warning of this when we arrived so after getting changed and enjoying a nice relaxing foot soak we found ourselves faced with 6-7 employees standing around looking at everyone, not knowing what to do about the smashed glass and making ppl in the pool feel a bit awkward.
Then the workmen turned up and obviously this was not relaxing and definitely not the peaceful spa experience I paid for lol.
I get that rooms / treatments might be out of order due to maintenance but we did not expect to see/hear work going on while at the spa (husband is in the building trade he was joking it was like being at work 🙄 which is the opposite of the spa day I had planned for us).
