A lovely spot for a paddleboard - but check your times before you leave as it's not always open to the public.

点评：A great lake for a paddleboarding day. It costs around £10-15 to take your own board on the lake but you can also hire them when you are there.
Just be careful and check the opening hours as there are a lot of days when it is not open until 4pm even during the summer which is frustrating as we got down there only to find we couldn't go on the lake.
Dogs are allowed on boards, under 18's require a life jacket/buoyancy aid when on the water.
There is nowhere to pump up a board, so be sure your pump works with the car as otherwise you will need to use a manual pump as despite them having boards there there was nowhere to plug a pump into and no help was offered around this.
There are some nice walks around the lake with some little bench spots to sit and relax and look out over the water.
The cafe is really good and has plenty of options for hot or cold days.
Double check the postcode as we had difficulties finding the car park.
