Very impressive winery
3 Horse Ranch Vineyards的点评
点评：I'm over the top impressed with this winery. The food was amazing, and the prices were so reasonable. Service was great, views of the vineyards spectacular. My daughter and I celebrated Mother's Day a week late and decided to try 3 Horse since neither she nor I had ever been there. The only issue (not so much for us but it could be for those who drive sports cars perhaps), was the road going up to the winery. Where the black top ends, there were road construction vehicles and flag men (on a Saturday which may mean that the road construction is being done privately). Portions of the dirt road were rough and traffic was being halted to allow for heavy equipment to grade the road. I mention that because even though we didn't mind, until the road work is completed, it could be difficult for some people to traverse.
Once we were seated (glad we made reservations because it was very busy), we started out with wine of course, then oysters on the half shell (priced less than what you pay for unshucked oysters at Albertsons). For dinner my daughter had the clams, perfectly served in a broth along with dipping bread and I had the smoked tri-tips with couscous on the side which was excellent. We shared a serving of the caramelized cheesecake for dessert; very yummy. The meals are served beautifully which made me think they must have an extraordinary chef on board. I'll definitely be returning.
