点评：The 12 hour drive from Sydney is not worth it. Even if it was only a 2 hour drive i wouldn't bother going . Roads in are fine for the area but this is outback Australia so take it easy if your in a little 2wd. The park itself though to us was a non event. To start with National Parks in NSW love locking gates and the loop road is CLOSED. How unusual!! We could see that there was a closed section before we went but what you don't realise until your there is that the closed section is a ONE WAY only road and you cant come in from the other end so this makes the main loop road totally closed from the first half decent lookout. The only way to get up close is to book on a tour at $75 per person and it was booked out when we were there. So what you see from the lookouts is very very basic. We went at 4pm to pick a spot to take some pics at sunset but didn't bother going back. Even a chair they have to "admire " the view is a joke. You can see this in my pics and the "view" from it.
