Ehrenburg Castle的点评
点评：If you are expecting untouched castle ruins, like myself, then you might be a bit disappointed. This is a tourist attraction and the ruins have new construction and decorations added to them (ex: metal sculptures of dragons, televisions, lookout towers, TONs of signage, etc). To me, this negatively impacted my experience as I was hoping to see some “boring old ruins” that would take me back in time with no distractions.
With that said, the experience was good overall.. the lifts to the top saved my legs and the high line bridge was a very cool experience. If I had the choice though, I would have traded it all for a grueling hike to untouched ruins.
I don’t regret coming here, but knowing what I know now, I probably would have chosen something different to do with my time in the area. This is probably best suited for families not wanting to endure the crowds at the castles in Füssen
