The Insta village, but nice beyond it.

点评：The culmination of one famous tour from Chiang Mai, famous itself, almost legendary, from and for Insta for the gen that does this. For me, who is beyond that age, the never ending pictaking is more annoying than nice, and the lower village with its shops and restaurants, none of which are non-touristy (meaning everything is slightly overpriced and not that good), is frankly too Disney for me (yes I know it's naff to complain about tourism if one is a tourist oneself). But the drive here is nice, the waterfall is great, and I must say the famous coffee hill overlooking the village is lovely too, definitely five stars. Unfortunately our coffee wasn't so great as the electricity was down and coffee is fully machinated... in fact you can't eat or buy anything "original" here. The third great experience was the small temple in the brook valley at the north end of the village, where we were basically alone - fortunately we had a good tour guide. I am all for supporting ecotourism and village empowerment beyond bad crops, but in the end, it is a managed experience. I am glad I came, but this is the one place north of Chiang Mai where I would not want to go again, although I'm pushed to once spend the night there and see the village illuminated.
翻译：在清迈，有一条极为著名的旅游路线——它本身就声名远扬，几乎成了传奇般的存在，也是那些热衷于在Instagram上分享行程的年轻人必去的打卡地。而对于我这种年纪已大的人来说，没完没了的拍照行为与其说有趣，不如说烦人。至于下城区的那些商店和餐馆，全都是为游客准备的（也就是说价格稍贵且质量一般），说实话，对我来说简直就像迪士尼乐园一样夸张做作。（没错，我也知道：自己身为游客却抱怨旅游业，这种行为挺俗气的。）不过这里的路况不错，瀑布也很壮观。不得不说，那个可以俯瞰整个村庄的著名咖啡山也美极了，绝对值得五星好评。可惜的是，由于停电，我们的咖啡泡不出来——毕竟咖啡制作完全依赖机器……事实上，在这里根本吃不到或买到任何“原产”的东西。第三次美妙的体验则是村庄北端溪谷中的那座小寺庙，当时基本上只有我们几个人，幸好我们有一位很棒的导游。我完全支持发展生态旅游以及帮助村庄实现自力更生，但说到底，这仍是一种经过精心安排的体验。我很高兴自己来了，不过在清迈以北的地区，这里是我最不想再去的地方。当然，我还是会鼓起勇气在那里住一晚，看看灯火辉煌的村庄是什么模样。
