Strong stomach needed, but great views minus lack of marine life

点评：After not being able to secure any sea based activities last year (we came in October half term holidays and were based in the more remote Alcudia, this year in Palma Nova) we were determined to get some on sea action this year.
We managed to secure 3 tickets for the Dolphin glass bottom catamaran sea excursion for ourselves and our 15 year old son. It lasted 2 hours and we soon realised we did not have sea legs! After about 10 mins they anchored up for people who wanted to swim off the back of the boat. This is not explained in the leaflet and nobody told us when booking so if you are confident swimmer in deeper water then come prepared.
As for the trip it tootles up the and down the coast as the crew announce over a loud speaker the main sites and attractions (with the engines it was hard to hear the muffled announcements). This is all book knowledge as I spent most of my journey clutching my stomach aching for dry land! Joking apart there were a few people who were actually sick and in hindsight we think it was probably too choppy for the Captain to have green lit the trip.
One disappointing element as well was the glass bottom part. Whilst it theoretically offers good views on both sides of the craft, the water was very thick and murky and save for two inquisitive jellyfish, we literally did not see any marine creatures which given the fact we were floating in a small cove for 20 mins (my stomach definitely remembers that part) you’d think it would be awash with marine life, but nothing.
My judgement of the trip is clouded by the fact I felt pretty wretched but that’s just me. If you like cruises though and have the stomach for it then the views are lovely just be prepared that you might not actually see any fish!

还有一个令人失望的地方是玻璃船底。虽然理论上可以从船的两侧看到很好的景色，但水很浓很浑浊，除了两只好奇的水母外，我们真的没有看到任何海洋生物，考虑到我们在一个小海湾里漂浮了 20 分钟（我的胃肯定记得那部分），你会认为那里应该有很多海洋生物，但什么也没有。
我对这次旅行的判断被我感觉很痛苦的事实所蒙蔽，但这只是我的感觉。如果你喜欢游轮旅行，并且有勇气，那么景色很美，但要做好准备，你可能真的看不到任何鱼！
