A massively expansive beach
French Leave Beach的点评
点评：This is a great world class beach and not to be missed. However, I personally found it to be overrated (probably just a personal preference as I found myself extremely partial to the calmer, shallower waters on the Caribbean side beaches as well as the better colors there). Drawing a distinction between the beach and the water, the BEACH itself is great (tons of wide sand where you can walk a LONG way with almost no one there). But being on the Atlantic side, the wind means you can’t do as much in the water or walk out very far into it. The sand is hard packed so if long walks are your thing, this is your place. Also, if you don’t care about getting in the water and just enjoy laying and listening to the sound of the waves, this is a good place for you as well.
I personally found this beach and Pink Sands on Harbour Island to be pretty much exact duplicates of each other (with the exception that Pink Sands) has more resorts and houses on it. So if you don’t manage to get up to HI for a day trip and see Pink Sands, you can totally console yourself that French Leave is identical (including the quality and color of the sand).
