点评：I had carefully researched the horse riding options in the area and was hopeful after reading the reviews for Bank House but was sorely disappointed. I booked what was supposed to be a 1 and a half hour hack for me and my 11 year old daughter. I was told on the phone that most of it would be spent out on the hack. In fact, we didn't actually leave the riding centre for 45 minutes. The first 20 minutes was spent waiting for the horses to appear. The next 25 minutes was spent assessing us in the ring. I realised it was going to be disappointing when I saw the horses. They both looked over weight and had one speed - very slow walking pace. I thought that a semi private hack meant going out in a small group but it was just us and the instructor. She was very friendly but this was not a hack in my opinion. Having done hacks many times before, I do not consider walking very slowly for about 20 minutes down a farm track and then walking back the same way to be a hack. The cost was an eye watering £82 each. When I tried to pay I was told that they didn't have a card machine, so I should either go to the local village to take cash from the post office or pay online when I got home. I have just paid the bill through gritted teeth and wish I had saved my money.
