点评：I called in to Pickards as I needed a chip nut fix after being away from Ontario for nine years. I was looking forward to browsing the many different flavours and perhaps finding a few new ones. I was surprised to see a lot fewer varieties than I remembered but I appreciate that certain flavours might have been discontinued due to cost effectiveness.
What was more disappointing was the quality of the chip nuts. The crunchy shells are nowhere near as thick and crunchy as they were and the flavour was almost nonexistent. Again, nothing like they used to be. A second bag of a different flavour were the same and I was left feeling relieved that I hadn’t opted to buy the bigger bag size.
I was left with the opinion that Pickards has cut right back on production costs as the quality of the chip nuts is nowhere near what it once was. So disappointed.
