点评：Seems they have a problem with local kids. We walked around the lake and on the far side were pelted with cones and small stones by a group of kids, maybe early teens, (telling them to quit made them worse) so a leisurely walk turned into trying to get away from them. Reported this to the information centre and were told it was a regular problem and the police were aware - why didn't they have staff patrolling if it's a regular occurrence?
Decided to grab a sandwich from the cafe (when we went in for coffee on arrival they had a small selection so we assumed there would be more by 12:50). Not a sarnie in sight - when I asked I was told they had no idea when they'd get a delivery (not yesterday, not today...) so what they'd had earlier had been hanging around and not freshly made in the kitchen. It was 26C and all they could offer was hot food.
Glad I'm a member and hadn't paid on the day. Not a good experience and definitely not worth an hour and a half drive. Shame as it's been on our list of places to visit for ages.
