点评：Beautiful Beach, but No Whistling This Time!
We visited Porthor Beach recently and had a lovely time soaking in the natural beauty of the place. The beach itself is stunning – clean, peaceful, and set against a gorgeous backdrop of rolling hills. It’s ideal for a relaxed day out, with crystal-clear water and soft, golden sand.
Despite its nickname “Whistling Sands,” the sand wasn’t whistling during our visit – maybe it depends on the weather or how dry the sand is. Still, it was a scenic and peaceful spot well worth the trip.
There is a car park right near the beach, which is convenient in a way coz there is steep walk. f, so keep that in mind. The café near the entrance is a great touch – serving decent coffee, and snacks, perfect for a break. Public toilets are available, and they were reasonably clean, which was appreciated.
Overall, a beautiful beach with good facilities. Just don’t be disappointed if the sands don’t whistle – the views and atmosphere more than make up for it!
