Nice but not worth the price!

点评：We've been camping for 20 years now and have been to several different Yogi campgrounds for 15 of those years and each year we are seeing the decline in everything but the price. Although the area is beautiful, and the staff were nice, the prices are outrageous! First of all, they charge a $30 lock in fee, per site. So, we had 3 campers, which meant $90 to secure the site we chose, on top of $150 a night price for a RV site. I called prior to booking to inquire about the lock fee and was told that if I booked the 3 sites on one reservation, we would not be moved. Well, they moved us, and they hide behind some idiotic excuse that the computer moved us! Do they realize that it's a human programming the computer?! Why make us go through the process of picking a site that fits our camper size and slides only to move us?! If I pick a spot and it's available, what reason is there to move us?? There was no reason until a few years ago. It's just another way to pocket more money on their end. I really hope the government includes these types of charges with the new "resort fee" law that is in the works. But the price gouging didn't stop at check-in. Laser tag for 25 minutes was $14 a person! Mozzarella sticks are $2.25 per stick! Wanna send your kid to the arcade for a little bit of fun? Well, that will cost you between $1.50-3.00 for 1 arcade game! And then there are the golf carts....$150 for 2 nights (it's a 2-night minimum) and they are literally falling apart! The seat cushions were moldy and torn. We had to take the one back because the headlights wouldn't come on. When I went to trade it in, there was a line of 5-6 other carts with issues ranging from no power at all to one that had cut her child's leg due to metal sticking out. We rented 2 carts, and the forward/reverse button was literally being held on by duct tape on the other cart that didn't last so we had to put more on just to get it to go. If you are coming in at night, good luck! There are absolutely no lights on the sites, at all. Nothing on the electrical box and nothing on the site number. You can't even see the street sign names. Although the bath houses are nice, there is no HVAC in there so it's like a hot, crap box in the day and freezing at night. Wi-fi is supposed to be included with the price of the site but good luck getting a signal! Even at 1:00 AM, when you think most people would not be on, we still had to use our hot spots to get any sort of internet. If you are going to charge premium prices, you should offer premium products!
