Visit to the farm. We won't be returning...

点评：We booked to visit the farm during lambing weekend. My kids were so excited, and so was I! However, there were no lambs...
So we drove 1hr 15mins to get here for a lambing event, to pay another £10, on top of entry, for parking! To then have the kids moan for a go on the £4.50 hook a duck placed on the carpark.. then get on a train to take us to the farm, £3.50pp 😑 so it wasn't a particularly cheap day out...
There weren't many animals to see and there wasn't much else to do other than the play area (which you could find anywhere for free...) and some ride on tractors in a small shed..
We attempted a "lamb talk" where they told us the lambs would be about another 4 days off but the kids weren't interested. They just wanted to see lambs. I know pregnancies can be unpredictable but it seemed they were fully aware there would be no lambs by this weekend! So I can't understand why it was advertised as lambing time?
Oh & the gift shop.. 🤨 We entered the shop on the way out, 10 minutes before closing time, to be greeted with "do you want anything because I'm closing?" a "hello" wouldn't have gone a miss.. so we left.
All in all, I feel we wasted over £100 on this day out. The kids made the most of it but we won't be returning as could have gone somewhere much cheaper and got a lot more out of it. We just wanted to see lambs so paid to do so 😌

总而言之，我觉得我们这一天浪费了100多英镑。孩子们玩得很尽兴，但我们不会再来了，因为本来可以去更便宜的地方，体验更好。我们只是想看看羊羔，所以付了钱才去看的😌
