点评:I visited the park while on holiday with my partner and my 2 older teenagers on the 8/9/25 at around 14.30pm.
The park and gardens are absolutely stunning and we all throughly enjoyed our visit.
However my daughter was particularly interested in visiting the Japanese garden and it wasn’t until we paid the entry fee and were handed a map that we discovered that it is only open on certain days and certain times, I feel that this should have been explained before paying the entrance fee.
I also feel that my recent experience was let down by the customer service. The female staff member I interacted with in the farm shop came across as blunt and dismissive. Instead of offering help in a welcoming way, they spoke in a tone that felt rude and made me feel looked down upon as a visitor.
As a guest, I expected a friendlier and more respectful approach, especially at a National Trust property that is known for its hospitality. Clear communication and courtesy go a long way in making visitors feel valued.
I hope this feedback can be taken constructively so future visitors have a more positive experience.
