College Cruisers的点评
点评：This is a delightful way to take a calm but active holiday, and the staff at College Cruisers are friendly and helpful. My one warning is about the boat called Pembroke. This boat sits unusually deep in the water, and so its propeller tends to catch up rubbish from the canal bed. We broke down twice during a five-day trip, and had to wait each time for a member of College Cruisers staff to come and free the propeller of plastic bags, clothes, a carpet, etc. We were advised to keep to the middle of the way, but of course one can't always do this, and in fact the boat grounded in mud several times. And here's the point - you need real muscle-power to get the boat free when it gets stuck. We were two middle-aged types, fit but not quite equal to this labour. So don't choose Pembroke unless you have a strong crew to work it.
