A rough adventure, worth the trip

点评：We went here on a suggestion from a friend.
PROS:
-It doesn’t cost anything, aside from gas to get there
-It’s a beautiful fall, with a fun swimming experience
-Tons of rocks to climb and explore at your leisure
-Parking was ample and seemed safe
CONS:
-It’s kind of a trek, and it goes through some real “rural” areas of back country. Cars on blocks, abandoned RV’s, houses with debris-scattered front yards
-This place is not for those with any sort of mobility issue. Unstable terrain, barely there stairs, and slick rocks
-The main swimming hole, you can see a pile of garbage off to your left, which was runoff from Hurricane Helene. A sad sight
-There are no restrooms or trash receptacles
This is a real adventure type experience. If you need amenities, you may want to skip this. If you want to see a beautiful mountain swimming hole, check this place out.
