Shrigley Hall Golf Course的点评
点评：We had a terrible experience at Strigley Hall using a buggy and all because I forgot my battery for my electric trolley. The course was extremely hilly very poorly sign posted and wet. So much so that the buggy was restricted to only being able to be driven on the paths which would have been fine if the paths actually existed to link the holes! The GPS system constantly flashed up messages preventing you from being able to see the directions to the holes and the supposed routes to get to them . With any variation the GPS kicked in and halted the buggy from moving forward. I spent most of my time reversing with no mirror over uneven muddy terrain just to be able to make any progress at all. As the buggy was shut down automatically and locked so you couldn't go forward only backwards.
As a consequence I had a terrible round of golf and I couldn't play quite a few holes as I couldn't get the buggy to take me to the tee position as there were no paths. It was actually pretty frightening . When we got back the pro shop was closed and so no discussion could take place about my ordeal. If only the GPS system could have been temporarily switched off all would have been well. It was a dreadful experience and one I would never repeat if the buggies were restricted to the paths because of the wet conditions. I would have had no problem with sticking to the paths if there had actually been paths that didn't disappear as you were driving along them . I came away feeling totally frustrated and angry that I had been put in this position and all because I forgot my battery which turned out had slid under the seat of the car and I had it all the time. Totally awful experience and not one I would be keen to repeat.
