点评:Stayed here 10 years ago and what a difference 10 years makes. 15 minutes from Dunes and same to Zappata Falls. Both worth a visit. San Luis us no longer a state park but falls under SWA ( state wildlife area). 10 years ago we stayed in June. Park was well maintained and staffed. Not so today. No fee required to camp (only a SWAIndividual Pass) and free electricity. Very few campers typical desert sites (hot and dusty) back-in and pull thru sites. Hot and dusty during day and cool at night. No showers and put toilet (clean). Great views of Spainish peaks, and dunes. Would not recommend for Glampers…if remote and quiet is what you are looking for this is it. Great sunrise and su sets, beware of flash thunderstorms and strong gust(50-60mph) of wind. Defiantly could use some attention….
