Sand Beach的点评
点评：The first time stop we made in Acadia National Park was at the Sand Beach attraction. I found the closest parking I could at 9:30 a.m. on a Friday morning, which was along Park Loop Rd. Since nobody else wanted to join me on the walk down to the beach, I went alone.
There were public bathrooms with showers, but I didn't use them. An information sign in front of the bathrooms depicted the area's three hiking options: the Ocean Path (an easy, 2.2-mile one-way trail to Otter Point), the Great Head Trail (a moderate, 1.5-mile loop), and the Beehive Trail (a strenuous, 1.6-mile loop featuring sheer cliffs and ladders).
The actual beach is quite cool and can be reached by stairs. It is the park's largest and only sandy beach. Even in July, nobody was in the water because it was too cold to swim.
