岳麓山的点评
点评：We arrived late afternoon to Yuelu Mountain. We did not have time to hike up to the peak , thus could only walk around its park, sightseeing the Aiwan Pavillion and Yuelu Academy (now the Hunan University).
Many visitors are seen at the Pavillion, crowding, taking pictures. There are many shops offering souvenirs and snacks. The Park is big thus a lot of walking to do. Besides the natural scenery, the landscape of this Park is very well maintained.
On the main campus of Hunan University and adjacent to the south gate of Yuelu Mountain is a large open Square where the statue of Mao Zedong stands tall, his firm gaze, his great posture inspired many to take pictures with him under the setting sun.
The setting sun indicates the end of the day, and it's appropriate to wrap up the visit and conclude the tour of this historical landmark !!!!
