Good Value for Money Overnight Stay
Macdonald Linden Hall Golf & Country Club的点评
点评：For the price we paid (£149), for dinner, bed and breakfast with a bottle of prosecco, use of spa, gym and access to stunning grounds. There is also a full sized snooker table in its own room which we used. I thought our stay was good value. Myself and my wife went here with another couple using a Wowcher coupon
Although the hotel building itself is tired and in need of refurbishment and modernisation, our room was spacious and importantly clean with very clean good quality linen and towels.
All the staff we encountered were polite and welcoming and we're a credit to the Macdonald Hotel Group.
I was a little bit weary of our evening meal.sfter having looked at some of the reviews about the Linden Tree Pub ( part of the hotel's complex especially after speaking with a regular in the Spa and another guest who had earlier eaten there and complained about their food (beef bourguignon & the cost of the hotel drinks) but all four of us found our meals more than acceptable. Wines from just under £30 a bottle and drink prices no more than city centre bars. Our two servers, who also attended the bar afterwards were excellent.
Breakfast was very good, in the Dobson Room, it's a help.yourselve continental breakfast but the hot breakfast is ordered at and brought to your table.
If I had paid £280 for the deal (Wowcher) I would have felt that it was not value for money but for £149 I do believe it was very good value.
There are plenty of walks around the ground but if you're coming in the winter spring months or in inclement weather I highly advise hardy footwear!
The highlights of our visit was the cleanliness of our rooms and the politeness of the staff.
