One of the few places in the world where can you can get so close to nature's force without being killed

点评：It is "just" water flowing but if one manages to take a step back and reflect that this is nearly 170,000 m³ per minute flowing away from Niagara falls and buldozering through the gorge at nearly 50 km/h, making them one of the world's highest and most extreme rapids (category 6), then this becomes one of planet Earths must-visit places during one's life, along with the Niagara Falls themselves. The mere power and structure of the rapids make them nearly impossible to run without resulting in death. That realisation is what you need when coming to watch and respect this force of nature. The only minus when visiting the white water walk is the slow and small elevators and the resulting queue, so make sure to book your time slot and still expect about 30 minutes queueing (there is unfortunately no staircase down).
