点评：I worked with Tomasz at GFP months in advance of our first trip to Poland. Throughout the time leading up to our trip I asked him numerous questions and he was very responsive and friendly about it. When I told him what I thought I would like to do, he made suggestions and we settled on a two day itinerary. The first day was from Krakow to Gdansk and two days later Gdansk to Warsaw, each trip with various stops along the way. First stop was Czestochowa to see the Black Madonna. It was much more of an experience than I had imagined. The history of the monastery was very interesting and the site itself is set in beautiful gardens on a hill. I would highly recommend it. It can be crowded at times but our driver Tomek (I hope I spelled his name correctly) showed us where to go to get the most out of the experience and avoid the crowds. He was very knowledgeable and helpful. We really appreciated it as I don’t think we would have enjoyed it nearly as much without his suggestions. Another driver Rafal took us on to Gdansk, stopping in Torun, a very charming medieval town. Rafal was very friendly and knowledgeable. The stop in Torun included a nice walk, a visit to the Copernicus house and museum, as well as tasting the local treat, gingerbread, which was amazing. Rafal was also our driver to Warsaw after spending a day in Gdansk on our own. He took us to the Malbork Castle which was also ever interesting. It is a very big castle with rich history and he made suggestions how best to use our time there and where to get the best pictures. Both Tomek and Rafal answered numerous questions we had about Poland and the places we were driving through. It was everything I had hoped it would be. If we make another trip to Poland, I will most certainly reach out to Tomasz at GFP.
