Ghost Ranch is way more than expected!

点评：I cannot say enough good things about Ghost Ranch! I planned a sort of O’Keefe “immersion” weekend and could not get tickets to her Abuqui home so settled for a Ghost Ranch trail ride and landscape tour. I am SO glad the Abiqui tickets were not available and would advise anyone to choose Ghost Ranch first and foremost!
Jeff and Rebecca, my trail ride guides were knowledgeable, friendly, and very receptive to all skill and comfort levels with horses. They matched each guest up with their horse perfectly (you were the best, Chico!).
We did a Ghost Ranch history tour with Susan and which was well worth worth the very small additional cost ($5 only). She was excellent and I had no idea the incredible history that Ghost Ranch has. It’s truly astounding! I searched for a documentary on the place when I got home and was very disappointed not to find one.
Lucinda, our O’Keefe landscape tour guide, was equally incredible. She made sure everyone in the group was able to see the landscapes in alignment with O’Keefe’s masterpieces. Incredibly, they have not change since even before O’Keefe’s time!
I was worried that the trail ride and landscape tour would be duplicative but they absolutely were not. Be sure to pack a lunch and enjoy a picnic in the incredible landscape, and pack cash to tip these wonderful guides! I am looking forward to being back as soon as possible.
