点评:My husband and I really enjoyed our trip to this state park. After paying to get into the park, we headed over to the CCC Museum. This is the Civilian Conservation Corps and a blast from the past. After the stock market crash of 1929, over 25% of people were out of work. Our president, FDR created an agency where young, single men ages 17-25 could sign up to work. They built structures, such as bridges, dams and roadways in state parks. It kept them from starvation and malnutrition. The museum houses their history in this park and in Florida. Our docent, Dora was very informative and welcoming. We also booked a tram ride. We took an 1 1/2 hour adventure through out the park. We saw numerous alligators, turtles and birds. Our driver and guide, Don gave us a great tour. We had a wonderful time.
