Took a Ferry to See Hamburg Port
St. Pauli Piers的点评
点评：We took a round-trip on the 62 ferry from the St. Pauli Piers along the Elbe River to see the buildings along the river and the Hamburg Port. We stayed in the pier for a little while because we couldn't quite figure out the pick up point. We spent about 20 minutes in the pier area and just under an hour on the ferry itself.
This was an affordable way to see the city from the river but we wish the weather was a bit better because the rain kept us inside on the lower deck. If you're planning on doing a longer ferry ride we would recommend bringing something to drink and possibly some snacks. There was a family near us that had a literal feast on the boat.
The closest U-Bahn station is Landungsbrücken which is also what the ferry said on the pier. The Hamburg U-Bahn pass works for the ferries here too and we purchased a group pass for the four of us which was very affordable.
The pier itself has some restaurants and shops around. One item to note is that there were signs in the area warning of pickpockets so be careful with your belongings.
