点评：It’s wild to me that this tour is open to the public. It's probably only legal because the people who make the rules haven't done it. That being said, I LOVED IT AND WOULD DO IT AGAIN 10/10!
The 6-hour crawling cave tour was incredibly challenging - "crawling" doesn’t capture the mix of hands and knees, forearms and bellies, and even snake slithers through tight passages. It’s not just physically tough; it’s mentally demanding too.
We had a really great group that made it through the "tests" (Bare Hole and Hell Hole) without any issues, so we were rewarded with Sharon's Lost River and Dave's Lost Sea. 6 hours later when we finished, we were told that our route had all the most difficult options. Make no mistake, this was hard AF.
Our guides were amazing, and despite a few tough moments, the group remained positive and we all came through.
Here's what I wish I knew before: It's going to be harder than you can imagine. It's going to be tighter and smaller than you can imagine. It's going to be longer than you can imagine. You are going to get VERY WET and stay very wet. If you bring a phone, have it in a waterproof case. Don't bring a giant water bottle. There is a water station 1/3 way through. IF you bring a giant water bottle, you will be pushing it in front of you for 6 miles while you're scooching through on your belly. Have someone with you - The people who struggled the most were on the tour solo.
