Worth a visit but avoid the gift shop?

点评：This centrally located museum is well worth a visit despite the rather steep £15 entry fee. It’s quite a journey through history from 60,000 year old Neanderthal skulls to Egyptian burial caskets (apparently shipwreck survivors) to onsite medieval baths and of course rich in military memorabilia and images.
Well worth an hour or two, but don't expect much from the Gift shop. My small purchase was inadvertently charged to the wrong card and when I asked to refund to that card and pay by another card the pleasant employee said she would need approval! Her first call was unsuccessful, then she spoke to someone called Titan who advised a refund was impossible!! Evidently Gibraltar operates under different retail laws than the rest of Europe, or perhaps just this museum….
