Glenfiddich Distillery的点评
点评：Fantastic experience at the distillery tour today, from the moment we arrived, we were met with a warm friendly atmosphere. We headed into the bar, I had a beautiful latte and my husband sampled a whiskey. Great drinks menu with so much choice, the girls behind the bar were knowledgable and really helpful.
We then headed to reception for our tour to check in, another really helpful lady on the reception desk, really friendly and chatty.
We then started our tour with Matthew, and he was brilliant, an absolute asset to the Glenfiddich family. He answered every question given to him with ease, he was passionate, clearly loves his job very much. He bought lovely humour to the tour. It was a difficult group with a language barrier and a translator but he was patient and it didn’t phase him one bit.
The tasting session was brilliant, a beautiful little sample pack for the drivers and 4 beautifully presented sample whiskeys.
It was my husbands 40th birthday, and he really made a fuss of him and also gave him an experimental whiskey (Project XX) to taste, a lovely touch which really made the day for him. Matthew also stayed after our session to answer more questions, and spoke incredibly highly of the brand, you could tell it was genuine passion not just “training”. We wish him all the best with his upcoming wedding and hope his whiskey toast goes down well. Thank you for making my husbands birthday a special one.
After visiting another smaller distillery the day before, we were blown away with this one. If you are looking for a whiskey distillery to do whilst in the area which isn’t overly expensive I’d highly recommend this one. Great value for money.
