点评：We went on The Santa Express today, it was a lovely afternoon.
We were in the Observation Carriage, the seats were comfy and it was nice and relaxed.
The elves were really good fun and got everyone in the festive spirit, the goody bag was nice, especially the bauble and badge.
The staff were welcoming and friendly, especially Brian and Bob who chatted away to us and engaged with our son. They were knowledgeable and happy to share history of the railway.
My only recommendation would be for there to be some music playing in the background and perhaps some shortbread with the tea/coffee for those who don't enjoy mince pies.
The gift should shop should stock some wee souvenirs such as mini trains!
There was a family with a picnic and their own wee table on our carriage and the staff were more than happy for them to have it, a great idea for people who have travelled a distance to go on the train.
Seeing the train and station is like stepping back in time, it has been very well cared for.
I would recommend for a day out.
